These organisations are invited to send a nominee or observer to attend meetings of the Alliance and may be provided with minutes of these

 

Corresponding Members

Individuals and organisations who join the Alliance as corresponding members and as such are alerted to activities undertaken by the Alliance.

The Alliance will not invite pharmaceutical industry staff or principles to join it, but may liaise with these individuals and invite them to observe or participate in some or all parts of its meetings

 

Support for the Alliance

The Alliance receives no government funding, though it will seek government funding for hepatitis B initiatives and advocate for the funding of treatment, support, prevention, education, and research in hepatitis B.

The Alliance may seek support financially, and/or in kind, from its members, industry, government and non-government sources to achieve its goals.

It will use opportunities offered by industry, research and scientific meetings on hepatitis B and related topics to allow it to meet, in order to further its mission, aims, and objectives.

Any funds accepted by the Alliance will be unencumbered and in the case of funds from pharmaceutical industry would be requested and received as an educational or research grant.
