Alliance Background

In February 2007 a group of individuals and organisational representatives with a current or potential interest in hepatitis B met in Melbourne. The aim of the meeting was to share information about what was happening in relation to hepatitis B, particularly access to diagnostics and treatment and how the groups might work together to achieve gains in the hepatitis B area.

At that meeting it was agreed that a small executive should be formed up to progress the work of the larger group. The executive met in August 2007 and produced this document for presentation to the Alliance.
